Atletico Madrid have confirmed the signing of Racing Santander defender Domingo Cisma on a one-year contract.
According to the club’s official website, the Seville-born player put pen to paper on a 12-month deal on Tuesday.
Cisma, who can play as a left-back and at centre-back, played for Atletico’s youth team between 2003 and 2005. He then moved to Almeria and later Numancia before ending up in Santander in 2010, where he spent two seasons before the Cantabrian club was relegated from La Liga at the end of last season.
The 30-year-old will take part in his first training session under Atletico boss Diego Simeone this evening at the club’s training ground in Majadahonda.
