Aguilar: It will be tough at Valencia

Deportivo de La Coruna midfielder Abel Aguilar has highlighted the difficulties his side faces at Valencia on Sunday night.

Depor beat Osasuna 2-0 in the opening La Liga fixture on their return to the top flight but the Colombian international [pictured, right] insists that will have no bearing on the game at Mestalla.

“We know we need to correct some things we did in the match with Osasuna and against Valencia we will have to have more consistency in our play,” he told a Press conference.

“But we go out to win every game. We have a great squad, a good team, to the extent there is strength in every department, so the idea we will sit back will be no problem.”

However, Aguilar is aware of the threat posed by a Valencia team that achieved a creditable 1-1 draw at Real Madrid last week.

“They showed on the first day they are a good team and they will want to win the first game in front of their own games.

“However, we believe in our own work and improving things so we can achieve some good results.”
