New Barcelona boss Tito Vilanova has said he wants to 'enjoy' taking charge of his first Clasico.

The Blaugrana face old rivals Real Madrid at Camp Nou tonight in the first leg of the Super Cup, but the 42-year-old was sanguine when asked about the pressure he feels.

“There are things more important than this game,” Vilanova declared in his official press conference.

“I want to enjoy my profession, and this match is important, but it's not healthy to allow myself to think that if we don't win the world will come to an end.

“Neither team is coming into the match on better form than the other. The players' performances will improve as the season goes on.”

The game reunites Vilanova with Jose Mourinho, who famously poked him in the eye during last season's edition of the Super Cup, but the former assistant to Pep Guardiola had nothing but praise for Mourinho's side, highlighting their quick turnaround on the break as a primary strength.

“Their counter-attacking is very strong and we'll have to be attentive. We're playing at home and the whole world knows how we play when we're at Camp Nou.”

Vilanova has no problems with starting Alex Song despite him signing less than a week ago, and also confirmed Carles Puyol is fit to start:

“Song's transition will be a quick one. Puyol is in perfect condition to play.”
