Atletico Madrid have welcomed back Diego Costa to first team training, as he continues his recovery from knee surgery.
The 23-year-old Brazilian striker went under the knife earlier this month for a minimal procedure on his knee and has now been passed fit to rejoin his teammates.
The forward, who originally joined Atleti in 2007, suffered a serious knee injury last summer and missed most of the first half of 2011-12.
However, he bounced back during the second half of the campaign when out on loan with Rayo Vallecano, where he netted 10 goals in 16 appearances for the Madrid minnows.
