Real Madrid defender Ricardo Carvalho is on the verge of joining Queens Park Rangers on loan.
The former Portuguese international has been consistently linked with a move away from the Spanish capital since Coach Jose Mourinho revealed he was happy to let him go.
“I have no problem with him leaving as he knows he is not part of my immediate plans and does not want to be a substitute,” Mourinho explained last weekend.
Sky Sports have now confirmed that a loan deal for the 34-year-old could be completed as early as this weekend, with a deal already agreed ‘in principle’.
