Nuri Sahin’s agent has reportedly met with Real Madrid officials at the Santiago Bernabeu to finalise a loan deal to the Premier League.
Reza Fazeli had a meeting at 11:30 this morning with Madrid’s management, agreeing upon a switch to England.
Liverpool and Arsenal are the frontrunners to sign the German born Turkish international, with the Gunners the player’s preferred choice because of their participation in the Champions League.
According to the Metro newspaper, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger personally called Sahin to persuade him to make the switch to London. The French tactician speaks fluent German, and the call is said to have all but officially closed the deal.
