Milla finalises Olympic squad

Luis Milla has named his Spain squad for the games with Senegal and Mexico prior to this summer’s Olympic Games.

A total of 22 players have been called up for the friendlies, after which four will be discarded to complete the final selection for London.

The list contains four Barcelona men in Martin Montoya, Thiago Alcantara, Cristian Tello and recent arrival Jordi Alba, and Milla says he appreciates the latter’s inclusion after helping Spain win Euro 2012 last Sunday.

“I had spoken to Jordi Alba and also to other potential players who could have come with us,” Milla told a Press conference.
