Report claims Euro 2024 star is eyeing up summer move to Real Madrid

Real Madrid are not planning to sign a Toni Kroos replacement this summer, with a deal for Leny Yoro currently being the top priority for the club’s sporting department. However, if a market opportunity arises, it could be something that is explored.

Given that Yoro would be a high-cost operation, and with Alphonso Davies also being a realistic target, it’s likely that any deal Real Madrid pursue would be an inexpensive one. This would play into the hands of Adrien Rabiot, who is dreaming of joining countrymen Ferland Mendy, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Kylian Mbappe in the Spanish capital, as claimed by Tuttomercatoweb.

Rabiot is currently a free agent, having parted ways with Juventus upon the expiry of his contract last weekend. He’s been linked to Barcelona in the last few days, although it seems that his preference is their bitter rivals. Nevertheless, it would a monumental surprise if he joined Real Madrid, given that a deal would not suit Los Blancos under any circumstances.
