If Real Madrid secure victory over Dortmund at Wembley it will seal an incredible 15th European Cup/Champions League title for the club.
However, attention will quickly turn to Mbappe, alongside a potential trophy parade in the Spanish capital on June 2.
If Real Madrid win, they will be joined by thousands of fans at the Cibeles fountain in Madrid, to lift the trophy, and Mbappe could be confirmed as a Real Madrid player the following day.
As per the latest update from L’Equipe, plans are in place for a celebration on Sunday, and Mbappe’s unveiling on Monday, in a busy few days in Madrid.
Mbappe will then immediately return to France’s Euro 2024 camp to continue his preparations for the tournament.
