UEFA decide Champions League final venue for 2026

UEFA have decided the venues for the 2026 Champions League, Europa League and Conference League finals, with the main competition finishing in Hungary for the first time.

As per Marca, the Champions League final will be held in the Ferenc Puskas Arena in Budapest in two years, which has a capacity of just over 67,000. It will follow on from Wembley this year, and the Allianz Arena in Munich next season. Meanwhile the decisionfor the 2027 final has been postponed until September, but if the San Siro renovations are on schedule, it is due to be the venue.

Meanwhile the Europa League final in 2026 will be in the Beikta Park in Istanbul, Besiktas home stadium of 42,500 fans, and the Europa Conference League final will take place there in 2027. The 2027 Europa League final will be Eintracht Frankfurt’s DB Park, with a capacity of 58,000. Next year’s venue is San Mames in Bilbao, and the decisions were taken as UEFA’s commission got together in Dublin, ahead of the clash between Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta.

In the women’s game, the 2026 Champions League final will be at the Ullevall in Oslo, also following on from San Mames this season and the Jose Alvalade in Lisbon next year.
