Paris Saint-Germain consider letting Ousmane Dembele leave just one month after signing him from Barcelona

Last month, Ousmane Dembele completed a somewhat controversial move to Paris Saint-Germain. The French champions activated his €50m release clause, much to the fury of then-club Barcelona.

There were great expectations for Dembele upon his arrival, especially considering the form that he had shown in Catalonia over the last 12 months. However, he has made a difficult start, failing to score or assist in any of his first five matches for PSG.

According to Daily Mirror (via MD), this has prompted PSG to consider letting Dembele leave. They are reportedly open to allowing the 26-year-old to depart on loan in January, with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United all interested in doing a deal.

It would be bonkers if PSG were to actually allow Dembele to leave the club already, although they do have plenty of attacking options outwith him. Irrespectively, Barcelona will be watching the situation with some amusement considering the manner in which Dembele departed.

  1. Yep, loan him out. He makes 20 million a year.

What a great return on the investment, lol. You really got us this time, Nasser.

  2. Bring Salah or Mahrez. I still cannot believe that any club would give Dembele another chance. He’s the worst finisher in history.

  3. The king 👑 (Lionel Messi) of soccer was here and you showed how ungrateful you were to have the privilege of him gracing your club so this is Nemesis catching up on you (psg)
