‘Very, very close source’ tells Harry Redknapp that Jude Bellingham wants Real Madrid move

While it had been said in Madrid that the deal for Jude Bellingham had gone cold, once again there appears to be a number of stories surrounding the Englishman and Real Madrid. Not least from Harry Redknapp.

Bellingham, 19, has been slated to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer in a deal that would put him amongst the most expensive midfielders in history.

Speaking to Beyond the Pitch recently, Redknapp claimed that he had it on good authority that Bellingham wanted to join Real Madrid.

“I’ve heard from a source very, very close to Bellingham that he wants to go to Real Madrid,” Redknapp claimed.

Their rivals for any deal, Liverpool and Manchester City both appeared to have eased their interest a little too in recent times, with perhaps a game of cat and mouse occurring.

However if Redknapp’s source is good on their information, it could leave Real Madrid in an interesting situation. Luka Modric has reportedly agreed to a new deal with Real Madrid, but his presence would likely mean one of the Croatian, Bellingham or Toni Kroos would remain on the bench for the big games next season.
