Real Madrid could sell Rodrygo Goes to a Premier League club this summer

Real Madrid are hard at work planning the 2022/23 season.

Los Blancos are keen to recruit well during the summer transfer window but for that to happen there’s going to be departures.

And according to Diario Sport, Rodrygo Goes could be one.

The potential arrival of both Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland would push Rodrygo and Marco Asensio down the pecking order.

Due to this, a sale could be the best thing for the player and club.

It’s thought Madrid would demand a fee in the region of €40m for the Brazilian and the Premier League is the likeliest destination.

Rodrygo, 21, joined Madrid from Santos in 2019.

A Brazilian international with four senior caps and a single goal to his name for his country, the forward has to date played 95 official matches for Madrid, contributing 11 goals and 18 assists.

He’s a talented player with a lot of potential but it could be a case of it simply being the wrong time in his career to settle at Madrid.
