La Roja’s predicted lineup for tonight’s friendly with Iceland at Riazor

La Roja welcome Iceland to Galicia this evening.

Spain beat Albania 2-1 at the RCDE Stadium on Saturday night and will hope to maintain winning ways tonight.

They’re playing the game at Riazor in A Coruna, their first appearance in Galicia for 13 years. They’ll hope to produce a strong performance in front of a partisan crowd.

Luis Enrique is expected to set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation.

Unai Simon will start in goal behind a back four of Cesar Azpilicueta, Hugo Guillamon, Aymeric Laporte and Jordi Alba.

Koke will anchor the midfield with Marcos Llorente and Carlos Soler either side of him. Ferran Torres will lead the line flanked by Dani Olmo to the left and Yeremy Pino to the right.

Luis Enrique has been clear about the importance of this international break; he wants his collective as cohesive and together as possible ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
