Bayern Munich offer stiff competition to Barcelona in race to sign Ajax’s Noussair Mazraoui

Bayern Munich want to sign Noussair Mazraoui from Ajax.

The German club are offering up serious competition to Barcelona, who are also interested in signing the right-back.

Bayern have made Mazraoui a huge offer of €10m per season to try and convince him according to Mundo Deportivo. This is significantly higher than what Barcelona are willing to offer him.

Mazraoui’s contract with Ajax expires at the end of this season and is being courted by several of the European elite. Milan and Borussia Dortmund are also keeping tabs on the situation.

Mazraoui, 24, has spent his entire senior career at Ajax.

Valued at €20m by Transfermarkt, the defender has earned 12 senior caps for the Moroccan national team and scored one goal.

He’s made 133 appearances for Ajax since breaking into the Dutch side’s first team, contributing ten goals and nine assists.

Barcelona are keen to recruit a right-back this summer transfer window. Sergino Dest hasn’t convinced and Dani Alves is 38.
