Real Madrid will be able to call on all of their considerable resources for their away match against Real Mallorca on Monday night.
In stark contrast to the final stages of last season, Real Madrid will have a clean bill of health going into this clash, as pointed out by SPORT. Some are putting this down to the changed fitness regime this season, which was put into place by renowned coach Antonio Pintus.
Casemiro and Ferland Mendy served their suspensions in Europe on Wednesday night, but are available again. Niggling injuries which may have affected Toni Kroos, Karim Benzema, Nacho Fernandez have all been brushed off and shouldn’t cause any issues.
Perhaps the biggest influence on Carlo Ancelotti’s line-up will be the potential for suspensions. With Barcelona visiting the Santiago Bernabeu next weekend, both Ferland Mendy and Eder Militao would be suspended for that clash if they were to pick up a fifth yellow card against Mallorca.
