Spain boss Luis Enrique not considering Man Utd job ahead of World Cup

Luis Enrique is not considering a move to Manchester United, according to the latest reports.

The Spain boss has been linked with Manchester United during the last week or so following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Solskjaer struggled to kick on from last season, despite significant investment during the summer transfer window, and he paid the price.

A number of names have been linked with United since, and Spain boss Luis Enrique is one of those.

But according to Fabrizio Romano, Luis Enrique is not entertaining any thoughts of making the move to Old Trafford.

Romano says Luis Enrique is only thinking about the World Cup having just guided his team to the competition.

That will be a big boost for Spain as they prepare for next year’s World Cup, while it’s not clear whether Luis Enrique would have been first choice for United in any case.

The likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Zinedine Zidane have also been linked with the vacant role.
