Fabrizio Romano offers exclusive insight into the futures of Eden Hazard, Zinedine Zidane and Xavi

There’s few men better-connected in European football right now than Fabrizio Romano. The Italian journalist has his finger on the pulse when it comes to the transfer market, and granted Football Espana an exclusive interview touching on the most important stories currently in play in the world of Spanish football.

Zinedine Zidane, the man who led Real Madrid to three Champions League titles on the spin, is never far from the news. Fabrizio spoke on rumours linking him with Manchester United, given the apparent instability of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s position, as well as the French national team.

In Catalonia, another legend as a player has taken over at his old club. In this case that’s Xavi, the midfielder that operated as the beating heart of those great Barcelona and La Roja teams from the tail end of the 2000s to the early 2010s. Fabrizio was clear, however, that he hasn’t been hired by Barcelona purely due to his status as a player. He’s here to do serious work.
