La Roja are to release a behind the scenes documentary of their Euro 2020 campaign.
Spain defied the odds at last summer’s tournament, heading into Euro 2020 with slim hopes and with a squad many feel was their weakest for a number of years.
But they left the competition with their heads held firmly high, exiting at the semi-final stage after losing on penalties to eventual winners Italy.
Luis Enrique and his men didn’t always play well, but they got the job done and proved many of their doubters wrong.
It was some journey for La Roja, and one can only imagine how it felt from the inside.
Well, until now, at least.
La Roja have announced the release of a behind the scenes documentary which will show the Euro 2020 journey with footage from inside the team camp and the dressing rooms.
The documentary – titled ‘La fuerza del grupo’ or ‘The Strength of the Group’ – will be released on November 19, and for now, we will have to make do with a teasing trailer, the highlight of which is a shirtless Luis Enrique sharing a been with his players.
