Barcelona look set to be without key star Pedri for this weekend’s big Clásico clash.
The Blaugrana have managed to set up a mouth-watering Clásico having come back within two points of their fierce rivals thanks to their 3-1 win over Valencia last weekend.
It has been a difficult start to the season for Barca, but they are back believing in what could be following an impressive result and the return of some key players through injury.
El Clásico will be the latest litmus test, but ahead of that game, Barca have been dealt a major injury blow.
As detailed by Sport, it looks as though Pedri will miss out on the clash as he continues to nurse muscular injury.
Up until this point, Pedri still hasn’t kicked a ball in training following his injury, and the club do not want to take any risks with a long season ahead.
It looks as though Ronald Koeman will have to do without his midfield starlet for the big one.
