Barcelona star Antoine Griezmann has revealed his enjoyment at playing alongside Lionel Messi so far this season.
The French international endured a slow start to life at the club, following his high profile move from Atletico Madrid.
However now settled into his role as a key player, and Messi’s regular attacking partner.
“I have been here for seven months, and we are still learning each others movements,” he told reporters from Marca, following the 2-1 win over Getafe.
“It is getting better and we are enjoying playing together.”
“I am love playing alongside Messi, and we are having success.”
Griezmann scored the opener against Jose Bordalas’ side, making it eight La Liga goals for the season so far, with five goals in his last nine games in all competitions.
The former Real Sociedad star added that he is open to the club signing an emergency striker in the coming weeks, if La Liga grants permission due to injuries for Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele.
La Liga are yet to ratify their decision on a transfer extension, with Quique Setien’s side linked with moves for Real Betis’ Loren Moron, Alaves forward Lucas Perez and Getafe’s veteran attacker Angel Rodriguez.
