Antoine Griezmann: The best is still to come from Barcelona

Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann has issued a warning to their rivals, insisting the reigning La Liga champions still have another level.

The French international scored the first goal in their 5-2 La Liga win over Real Mallorca, followed by a Lionel Messi hat trick and a spectacular goal from Luis Suarez.

However, despite returning to the top of the table, and already securing their progress to the Champions League last 16, the former Atletico Madrid star is confident the team has even more to give.

"We played a good game (against Mallorca)," he told an interview with Movistar, reported in Marca.

"We were very good in the first half, and managed the game well in the second."

"Messi and Suarez were both great, and we are happy with the performance."

"But it is important to continue to play like this."

"We know that we are going to play even better than this, and connect better with each other, as we are still learning and fully understanding each other."

Griezmann has regularly stated that he has found the adjustment to life at Barcelona to be difficult, but he added he is confident he that he beginning to to understand his role more, and link up with Messi and Suarez.

Messi's goals put him on top of the La Liga scoring charts, with 12 so far, with Suarez scoring eight and Griezmann on five.
