Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez set to miss Galatasary clash

Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez are both in line to miss Real Madrid's midweek Champions League tie at home to Galatasary.

According to reports in Marca, the pair sat out a recovery session following Saturday's 0-0 La Liga draw with Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Rodriguez trained on his own at the club's Valdebebbas facility, as he works his way back to fitness from injury, but the Colombian international is not expected to be included in the squad to face the Turkish side.

Welsh international Bale, did not train at all, after missing the last four games with a calf problem, and he is also expected to sit this game out for Zinedine Zidane's side.

However the full squad from the weekend draw did take part in the session, including the returning Luka Modric and teenager Rodrygo Goes.

Zidane could name an unchanged line up from their trip to Turkey a fortnight ago, with Federico Valverde and Marcelo replacing Modric and Goes in the starting team.
