Rodrygo Goes: I dreamt over Real Madrid debut goal

Real Madrid striker Rodrygo Goes is in dreamland after his debut goal against Osasuna.

The Brazilian came off the bench to make his club debut with 20 minutes to go in the La Liga clash at the Santiago Bernabeu, and within seconds of coming on he netted a fine solo goal to secure all three points for Zinedine Zidane's side.

The win puts Los Blancos top of the La Liga table, ahead of the weekend derby clash with Atletico Madrid, and the 18-year old admitted that his debut was an incredible moment.

"I am very very happy after tonight.

"The manager has given me a lot of confidence by bringing me on and that came through in my goal.

"My mother has always said that I am very lucky with debuts.

"But to score on my debut in front of the home crowd, is a moment I have dreamed about.

"I have dreamt about them chanting my name, and now they are.

"It is an incredible feeling."

Goes could could keep his place for the derby clash this weekend, but Zidane is expected to recall Karim Benzema, Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale to starting line up after they were rested against Osasuna.
