Ousmane Dembele back in Barcelona training

Ousmane Dembele is on track to recover from injury and be available for Barcelona’s match at Granada this weekend, report Marca.

The forward was set to miss between four and five weeks of action after picking up the injury on the opening day of the season defeat at Athletic Club Bilbao.

The former Borussia Dortmund forward trained with his teammates on Thursday but despite his return to fitness, Coach Ernesto Valverde is said to be keen not to rush the player back into action.

Dembele, 22, has endured two campaigns blighted by injury at the Camp Nou and it has been reported that there is growing frustration over his continued fitness issues.

The France international netted 14 goals last season but had been restricted to just 20 starts in La Liga and failed to sustain a run of games without further injuries.

Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez are now both available for selection for the Blaugrana following injuries, while Antoine Griezmann and Ansu Fati are other players who are keen to start.
