The agent of Ousmane Dembele has ruled out his client leaving Barcelona in the final week of the transfer window: “He is staying 100%.”
There have been multiple reports that the Frenchman will be involved as part of a deal that takes Neymar to the Camp Nou in the coming days.
The Catalan side have been linked with a move to bring the Brazilian star back to the Catalan club, following his €222M move to the French capital in 2017.
“Ousmane is staying 100%. There is no chance he will leave. He wants and will win at Barça,” agent Moussa Sissoko told Telefoot.
Dembele, 22, has endured two campaigns blighted by injury at the Camp Nou and it has been reported that there is growing frustration over his continued fitness issues.
The France international netted 14 goals last season but had been restricted to just 20 starts in La Liga and failed to sustain a run of games without further injuries.
It is said that Barca need to sell first-team squad players in order to fund further reinforcements and Dembele’s future had been question in light of the club’s interest in re-signing Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.
