Juventus ask for Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele

Juventus have asked Barcelona directly about the transfer of Ousmane Dembele this month, according to El Mundo Deportivo.

It claims that Juve’s sporting director Fabio Paratici met with Blaugrana club officials in the Catalan capital on Monday, when the Frenchman was brought up directly.

It is said that Dembele would be a replacement for Paulo Dybala in the Bianconeri’s squad, with the Italian champions believing the Argentine could join Paris Saint-Germain to replace Neymar.

This would effectively be a trio of transfers between the three clubs, although it is recognised that the Old Lady could not afford a deal for Dembele unless they sell Dybala.

The meeting is also said to have brought up a discussion over the future of a number of other players, with Daniele Rugani and Mario Mandzukic also reportedly mentioned.

There have also been claims that Juve wish to sign Barcelona full-back Juan Miranada, who will be behind Jordi Alba and Junior Firpo in the pecking order this campaign.

It looks set to be a dramatic final 10 days of the transfer window.
