Turkish giants Istanbul Basaksehir are set to complete the signing of central defender Miguel Viera from Lugo, report Marca.
The 28-year-old joined the second tier Spanish club last summer from Pacos de Ferreira in his native Portugal and impressed across 37 first-team appearances for the club.
Manolo Mandiá, the technical secretary of Lugo, said a few weeks ago that Vieira was non-transferable “except for an astronomical offer or matching the release clause payment.”
No transfer fee is mentioned by the report, which claims that just a medical is missing before the player completes his move to a club who are competing in the Champions League next season.
