Philippe Coutinho will not be leaving FC Barcelona this summer, his agent has confirmed.
The 27-year old midfielder is currently away on international duty with Brazil, at the 2019 Copa America, however rumours have intensified that he could be on his way out of the club before the start of the 2019-20 season.
However, his representative, Kia Joorabchian, has moved to end speculation of a move to French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
"We have had no contact from PSG, he told an interview with Radio Montecarlo
"I have spoken with Barcelona, and they have informed me they are not planning to sell him."
Coutinho, who signed for La Blaugrana in a £142m deal from Liverpool in January 2018, has struggled to retain a consistent place in the starting line up and was booed by fans last season.
This had led to an increase in rumours that he could be leaving the club, particularly if they are to complete the signings of either Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann or former player Neymar.
