Frenkie De Jong will be unveiled as a new FC Barcelona player later today.
The La Liga champions issued a statement to confirm that the Dutch international will be presented as their player, to fans at a ceremony at the Camp Nou at 1900 CET, after officially signing his contract with the club.
The stadium will open two hours beforehand, with the club expecting a large crowd to attend the event. amid huge excitement about De Jong's arrival.
The 22-year old has already posted a thank you message to former club Ajax, on his personal social media channels, and he attended a shirt signing event at the FC Barcelona club shop yesterday.
He agreed a €75m move to Ernesto Valverde's side back in January, however the two clubs agreed that he would remain in the Netherlands until the end of the 2018-19 season.
De Jong went on to play a key role as Erik ten Hag's side reached the Champions League semi final stage, and won the domestic Dutch league and cup double.
