Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho admits he ‘does not know’ his future at the club amid links to a move away.
The former Liverpool playmaker has cut a frustrated figure for the Catalan club this season, finding starting opportunities limited at the club and struggling to find consistent form.
The Brazilian only joined the Camp Nou in January 2018 for a deal worth up to €160m but it now appears the Blaugrana are willing to cut their losses on the player.
“I have a contract with Barcelona, it was always my will to succeed in this club, but now I am totally concentrated here (with Brazil) and about the future (with Barca) we do not know what will happen,” Coutinho told reporters, as cited by El Mundo Deportivo.
“Many things that come out in the media are simply not true but as for my future we do not know what is going to happen, that is the truth.
“It's clear that the arrival of big names is always good for a squad that wants to win.”
Paris Saint-Germain are said to be an admirer of the former Inter and Liverpool man but again their financial situation is precarious and may need to make sales before considering big-money moves.
