New Real Madrid forward Rodrygo Goes admits he is prepared to play for the club’s Castilla team next season following his move from Santos.
The 18-year-old has starred with Santos in his native Brazil but has joined Madrid this week after the two club’s struck a €45m deal in 2018.
“I have talked about playing for Real Madrid forever, but if I have to go down to Castilla then I do not have a problem either – I have to be humble,” Rodrygo told Marca.
“Hazard is a player that I always followed. I have had him on the screen photo of my mobile phone, so imagine. And now I will be able to play with him! And with Benzema and Vinicius, who are two phenomenon’s.
“I’m sure I will get very nervous when I met Hazard, but this is something I have to get used to at Madrid.
“Vinicius is a good example for me because he started Madrid at the same as me and has done very well, and like him I am happy to play anywhere.
“My presentation? I guess there will be fewer people than in Hazard's! But I hope there are many fans and they love me very soon.”
