Lucas Vazquez suffers burglary at Madrid home

Lucas Vazquez is the latest La Liga star to suffer a break in, after his Madrid home was raided last week.

The Real Madrid attacker, who was not selected for the latest Spanish squad, was away on a family holiday at the time of the incident and no one was present in the house at the time of the burglary.

Neither the authorities nor Vazquez have released any details of the break in at this stage, however a brief Police statement confirmed that a number items of worth were stolen by the raiders.

Vazquez is the third person at the club to have their house broken in in the last month, with team mate Isco and manager Zinedine Zidane have both been the victims of similar crimes.

Robberies of this nature have become more frequent in 2019, with Atletico Madrid Alvaro Morata also having his family home broken into, whilst Valencia trio Gabriel Paulista, Geoffrey Kondogbia and Ezequiel Garay also suffered break ins whilst on duty with their clubs.
