Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has confirmed he already knows where he will be playing next season.
The French international released a video at the end of the 2018-19 campaign, confirming that he wanted to leave the club before the start of the new season – a dramatic U-Turn on his decision to sign a new five year deal at the start of the season.
FC Barcelona are widely expected to be the club that moves for the former Real Sociedad, having had a bid rejected 12 months ago, and Griezmann indicated that a move is imminent.
"I know where I will be playing next season.
"A decision has been made and it should confirmed very soon."
Griezmann's new deal included a release clause of €200m, however that drops to €120m on July 1, and Ernesto Valverde's side are widely reported to be happy to pay that fee.
Previous interest in Griezmann from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain has ended, leaving the path clear for the Catalan side to make their move.
