Real Madrid forced into mass sales to raise funds

Real Madrid are aware they must raise significant funds from player sales to offset the incomings to the club this summer, report Marca.

Deals have already been agreed for Eder Militao, Rodrygo Goes and Luka Jovic which take the club’s spending above €150m, with a number of other top targets also close to a move.

Their pursuit of Eden Hazard could lead to a deal worth an initial €100m while they are also set to be close to signing Ferland Mendy from Lyon in a €55m deal – which would take spending over €300m.

That is why the club are open to selling Keylor Navas to Paris Saint-Germain and Nacho Fernandez in light of reported interest from Inter.

Gareth Bale, Marcos Llorente and Dani Ceballos are three players who were involved in last year’s squad who the club have also told they will leave should offers arrive.

Additionally, the club are set to be thinking of raising funds from selling returning loan players such as James Rodriguez, Mateo Kovacic, Borja Mayoral, Theo Hernandez and Raul de Tomas.
