Real Madrid face ‘traffic jam’ on multiple player exits

Real Madrid face a ‘traffic jam’ over their departures this summer with most players reluctant to leave, report Diario Sport.

It is claimed by the report that there are numerous players who Los Blancos wish to sell this summer who have no intention of leaving the club.

Welsh forward Gareth Bale (pictured) is the most obvious and notable player in this regard, with the numbers on his age, transfer fee, wages and injury count making a summer exit unlikely despite the club’s wishes.

Keylor Navas, Dani Ceballos and Marcos Llorente are the three players most likely to depart, the report adds, but a number of others who Madrid want to move on may prove trickier.

Jesus Vallejo, Sergio Reguilon and Mariano Diaz all reportedly face uncertain futures despite all three being keen on remaining at the club and fighting for a first-team spot.

Furthermore, fans want Marcelo and Isco to be sold even though they hold the support of Coach Zinedine Zidane, with the futures of both also uncertain.

Toni Kroos has renewed his deal while Raphael Varane and Nacho Fernandez look set to stay for at least one more year, but plenty of others look less secure.

Brahim Diaz and Fede Valverde are said to be the two young players to hold the brightest future under Zidane but a host of returning loanees may be moved on again.

Martin Odegaard, Borja Mayoral, Theo Hernandez, Lucas Silva, Oscar Rodriguez, Mateo Kovacic and James Rodríguez are others who look set to face the exit door again.
