Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane confirmed that a decision is yet to be made on the future of Gareth Bale.
Zidane recalled Bale to the match day squad for the defeat at home to Real Betis, after leaving him out of the previous games against Real Sociedad and Villarreal.
However he did not bring the Welshman off the bench, in what would have been his final game for the club, according to widespread reports on his situation at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Bale choose not to participate in the post match lap of honour, and his manager confirmed the situation remains unclear.
"We will have to wait and see (if Bale stays), as at the moment, I do not know what will happen
"In truth, I have counted on other players in more in recent weeks, and if I had a fourth substitute today I would not have brought him on.
"I make these decisions when it is right to do so, and I must act in the best interests of the team at all times.
"This may be difficult for a player who has been successful here, but I must think of what is right at any given time."
