Leeds United have agreed a deal to sign Barcelona B forward Rafa Mujica this summer on a free transfer, report Marca.
The 20-year-old has netted seven times across 33 appearances for the Blaugrana’s B side this campaign and is out of contract this summer.
Mujica is renowned for his versatility as he can play as part of a front-line or on either wing, and has previously won two caps for the Spain Under-19 team.
Born in Las Palmas, the forward joined the youth ranks of the Catalan giants in 2015 but has not yet made a breakthrough into the first-team squad at the Camp Nou.
He has primarily been a steady performances in Spain’s Segunda B division – the regionalised third tier of the Spanish football pyramid – and has previously had a loan stint at Cornella.
Leeds, currently managed by former Athletic Club Bilbao boss Marcelo Bielsa, have recruited in Spain recently – signing goalkeeper Kiko Casilla from Real Madrid while Samu Saiz is currently on loan at Getafe.
