Barcelona have already agreed a deal to bring Dutch midfielder Ludovits Reis to the club according to national news paper De Telegraaf.
The report – which has also been picked up by Spanish news source Marca – states that the 18-year will leave Eredivise side Groningen for in the Camp Nou this summer, in an €8m deal.
Reis, who is yet to be capped at senior level by the Netherlands, has impressed this season for the mid table side – making 27 league appearances.
According to De Telegraaf, he will sign a five year deal with Ernesto Valverde's side at the end of the current campaign, but he is likely to go straight in the club's B Team for the 2019-20 season – or potentially be loaned back to Groningen to continue his development.
If a deal is struck between the two sides, a loan move may be more beneficial for Reis as he is likely to find his first team opportunities limited by the arrival of Ajax star Frenkie De Jong in June.
