Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has confirmed that any summer signings will have to be ratified by the clubs's hierarchy.
The Frenchman is expected to make changes at the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season – with Florentino Perez's promise to fund a squad overhaul widely reported as significant factor in Zidane's return to the club.
However, Zidane has moved to end speculation that all of his targets will be achieved this summer, with the club's board – and Perez – set for a key role.
"I have no power in this area, but it is important that the club works together on targets.
"The president and the board are all very important, and then there is me.
"We will work on this together in the coming weeks."
Real Madrid have been consistently linked with moves for Premier League duo Paul Pogba and Eden Hazard, with the gossip columns also confident they will move for Tottenham's Christian Eriksen.
