Barcelona plan to loan midfielder Ludovit Reis to Real Betis as soon as they sign him from Groningen, according to Diario Sport.
Reports have claimed the Catalan giants are close to agreeing a €2.5m deal for the 18-year-old, but the Dutch club insist they will hold out for a greater sum.
Reis has made 46 first-team appearances for the Eredivisie club and has impressed the Blaugrana’s scouts, who have been monitoring him for twelve months.
This fresh report suggests Barca will loan the midfielder to the Andalusian club in a similar set-up to the deal for Brazilian wing-back Emerson, who moved to the Camp Nou from Atletico Miniero in January before immediately being loaned to Betis.
The Netherlands Under-19 international initially came to the nation from Slovakia, where both of his parents originated.
