Barcelona will sign Groningen midfielder Ludovit Reis in a €2.5m deal this summer, according to a report in ESPN FC.
The 18-year-old will go straight into the Catalan club’s B side with the idea that his promise will later be recognised to be promoted to the first-team squad.
Reis has made 46 first-team appearances for the Eredivisie club and has impressed the Blaugrana’s scouts, who have been monitoring him for twelve months.
The Netherlands Under-19 international initially came to the nation from Slovakia, where both of his parents originated.
