Diego Simeone has criticsed referee Javier Alberola Rojas, after incident with Alvaro Morata, where the official appeared to slap the Spanish international.
Morata protested a decision made by Rojas in the second half of the 1-0 win at Eibar on Saturday, and referee looked to grab/hit the Chelsea loanee on the back of neck.
He was incensed by the incident, and received a booking for his further complaints – and his manager was unhappy with the incident.
"Morata was very angry by what happened.
"It reminded me of on incident where I received a four game ban fr touching an official."
The RFEF or La Liga are yet to comment on the matter, however they are expected to release a statement later today indicated whether they will be investigating or not.
