Barcelona have their ‘full focus’ on securing their fourth La Liga title in five years and are not distracted by other competitions, says Ernesto Valverde.
The Blaugrana would secure the league title mathematically by winning nine points in their final six games – as they lead second-placed Atletico Madrid by nine points with a superior head-to-head record.
“We would love to get nine points and mathematically wrap up the championship,” Valverde told reporters, as cited by ESPN FC.
“We're getting closer to our goals but you can't mess up now and the league has our full focus.
“The dressing room is very aware of the moment of the season we're in. It's not like in November, when maybe a Champions League game takes all the focus.
“We're playing for La Liga and the game against La Real's another important one. We all know that and so do our supporters.”
