Barcelona are extensively scouting Wolves full-back Ruben Vinagre with a view to a summer transfer, according to reports.
Portuguese outlet O Jogo claim the Catalan giants have been sending a team of scouts to monitor the 20-year-old’s progress and are monitoring the potential of a deal.
The Blaugrana are hopeful of signing a left-back to provide competition for first-choice Jordi Alba, with youngster Juan Miranda likely to be loaned out this summer.
Vinagre joined the Black Country side from Monaco in a €12m deal last summer with Barca said to be willing to significantly increase this value to land the Portuguese player.
The full-back spent his youth career at Belenenses and Sporting CP before moving to Ligue 1 Monaco, for whom he did not make a first-team appearance.
Vinagre has made 18 first-team appearances for Wolves this campaign.
