Ajax want to sign Barcelona midfielder Carles Alena on a season-long loan deal this summer, according to Diario Sport.
The 21-year-old La Masia youth graduate has made 18 first-team appearances for the club this season after being promoted from their B team.
The report claims the Dutch giants see the midfielder as fitting their philosophy and sporting direction, while they hold ‘excellent relations’ with Barca.
The Blaugrana have already agreed an €85m deal for Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong this summer and want their captain Matthjis de Ligt, while there is a belief players could also move the other way.
