Barcelona forward Luis Suarez has warned their title rivals that Ernesto Valverde's side will be pushing hard right until the end of the La Liga season.
The Uruguayan international netted a 93th minute equaliser in their thrilling 4-4 draw at Villarreal on Tuesday night, and he knows acknowledged that the relegation battlers gave them a real scare.
"We started well and I think that if we had gone 3-0 up we would have won.
"However, Villarreal are in a desperate situation and worked very hard."
Barcelona saw their gap at the top of La Liga reduced to eight points with this draw, as Atletico Madrid won 2-0 at Girona, and they face Diego Simeone's side this weekend at the Nou Camp.
"This team has so much spirit and we never throw in in the towel.
"We want to win this league and we have made that clear.
"We do still have a points margin (over Atletico) however tonight has reminded us that if we make mistakes we will pay for them."
