Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has claimed his side will not be easing off in the La Liga title race, despite having a commanding lead at the top.
The Spanish international was speaking after a Lionel Messi-inspired performance saw them beat Espanyol 2-0 in the Catalan derby to maintain their 10 point lead over Atletico Madrid.
"We do have a big advantage and we have been difficult to beat this season.
"But we remember a few years ago we were in a similar position and made it difficult for ourselves.
"We will continue until it is decided mathematically."
Barcelona had to wait until the 70th minutes for Messi to find a breakthrough against the stubborn local rivals, but Busquets believes the home side deserved their win.
"They played very defensively today, but the important is that we won and i think it was justified."
