Valencia midfielder Dani Parejo has been speaking about his constant belief in playing for Spain, ahead of the national team's clash with Norway on Saturday night.
La Roja host Lars Lagerback's side at Parejo's home ground and 29 year-old is excited for the challenge that lies ahead with Luis Enrique's side.
"I have enjoyed my experience with the national team so far, but now European Championship qualification starts and I am happy to be here, he told Marca
"I hope to remain in future squads."
Parejo missed out on a place in Spain's 2018 World Cup squad, but he is philosophical about his future under Enrique.
"This is possibly the best time of my career.
"I am enjoying playing, my personal life is good and all the circumstances are coming together.
"I always have belief in myself and I hope to carry that forward with Spain."
