Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has stated that manager Diego Simeone remains committed to the club, despite their recent run of poor form.
Los Rojiblancos exited the Champions League after a Cristiano Ronaldo-inspired Juventus beat them 3-2 on aggregate in the last 16 and they have slipped ten points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona.
However on loan forward Morata stated that the Argentine remains central to everything at the club.
"Cholo is Atletico.
"He remains the head of this club and he will do until the end of his life.
"A bad result in the Champions League, or in the league, does not change that. He still has the desire to win, and that is all that matters."
Morata acknowledged that the squad have been disappointed with their recent form, but insisted that the squad is determined to finish the season as strongly as they can.
